It is exhausting in a very specific way, because you’re treating every piece of content like a one-time-use thing which means you’re constantly starting over. You’re essentially running a content treadmill that never actually takes you anywhere.

The fix isn’t more content. It’s a smarter content repurposing strategy—one that takes what you’re already creating and makes it work across more places, for longer, with a fraction of the extra effort. As a solopreneur, you don’t have a content team. Repurposing is your content team.

Here are seven swaps that make a real difference.

Swap 1: Random Posts You Create and Forget → Systematic Repurposing

The most common repurposing mistake isn’t failing to repurpose at all… it’s repurposing randomly when you happen to remember it’s an option. The difference between random and systematic is a habit, and that habit is this: every time you create something, ask yourself where else this idea can live.

One Instagram caption holds at least two or three micro-angles inside it. Pull them out. That caption becomes a Threads post with a slightly different hook, a Stories poll that invites your audience to weigh in, and the opening line of your next newsletter. You haven’t created new content. You’ve just stopped wasting the content you already made.
